tubag and CAESAR Ceramiche enter into exclusive co-operation
Thanks to a co-operation with the Italian company CAESAR Ceramiche, leading producer of ceramic outdoor slabs, tubag, Sievert SE's premium brand for renovation and restoration, road construction, gardening and landscaping, is the only manufacturer in Germany to offer a tested system for all CAESAR outdoor slab formats. This is documented with a joint quality seal.
By combining the products from CAESAR and tubag, it is now possible to create floor coverings for outdoor areas that comply with the new ZTV-Wegebau 2022 edition. This means that the requirements from the regulations for the installation of ceramic tiles in outdoor areas in the N1 (pedestrian load) and N2 (car traffic up to 3.5 tonnes) usage categories are met.

"We are looking forward to working with CAESAR and would like to use this partnership in particular to familiarise landscape architects and specialist tradespeople with the technical aspects of laying ceramic coverings in outdoor areas as described in the current ZTV-Wegebau regulations," says Olaf Wolf, Managing Director of Sievert Baustoffe.
Specifically, the co-operation between the two companies relates to ceramic patio tiles with the designation AEXTRA20 in conjunction with tubag mortar products. It is preferable to lay the slabs using a bonded construction method, but they can also be laid in chippings, on pedestal supports or with traditional bonding. The tried and tested system structures from tubag enable quick and safe installation, which, in combination with the CAESAR AEXTRA20 products, leads to high-quality technical and aesthetic results.
